In a new build, energy efficiency plays a leading role. Modern brick and rendered new houses need not only optimal insulation of the walls and windows, but also matching roller shutters.
The Enext RO 4.0 improves the insulation of your home with our modern box made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), an innovative and efficient insulating material. Unlike its predecessor made of Neopor, our latest model relies on EPS, a high-grade, foamed plastic known for its excellent insulating performance. EPS, a synthetic material, offers outstanding insulating properties that both increase your energy efficiency and ensure a pleasant indoor climate. As standard, our box is supplied with additional side-panel insulation to ensure maximum insulating effect.
Our Enext RG 4.0 is made from the same material. The two models differ in the inspection. On our RG 4.0 you reach the roller-shutter box from outside, while the RO 4.0 model has the inspection on the inside.

What is new in our Enext 4.0 range?
As of quarter 03/24, our two models Enext RO and RG 4.0 are on the market with numerous innovations. Do you want more light in your home and enjoy your large windows every day? Then we have good news for you, because our new box heights of 250 mm and 280 mm allow more light, even with larger glazed areas. The various build depths are new too, for even more individuality in the new build.
To unify our next® family, the new models now have a single connection type to your window frames. It suits Tanext and Enext alike. Safety is close to our hearts, which is why we have now also integrated the glass fall protection into our Enext 4.0 RO system with room-side opening.
New head-piece insulation on the Enext 4.0
On all our boxes in the Enext 4.0 range, head-piece insulation is standard. This allows the box to be fully insulated, so that no heat loss occurs here any more.
But we want not only practical benefit, but also visual optimisation. That is why our new range relies on a render frieze flush with the box top. You perceive no colour differences, which makes a form-fitting joint of the mounting foam or mounting tapes possible.

Two models, one system
The Enext 4.0 RO roller shutter and its special features
As a room-side open model with inner inspection, the RO roller shutter reliably prevents cool air from entering from outside. At the same time, the warmth of your rooms is retained thanks to the impressive U-values. Your roller shutter is not the problem, but the box? For manufacturing we use expanded polystyrene with a particularly good insulating effect. As curtain variants you can choose between our standard or mini roller shutter, both delivered in the popular Optimaxx system. Our tip against insects: on request, an integrated insect screen is available as special equipment. The Enext 4.0 RO roller shutter is suitable for facing masonry, rendered masonry and ETICS façades. Variant: the Enext 4.0 RO model is available not only as a classic version but also as a screen version with a textile screen. Operation is comfortable by motor.
The Enext 4.0 RG roller shutter and its properties
Insulation and material are identical to the Enext 4.0 RO roller shutter, but this is a room-side closed model with external inspection. In addition to the fields of application of the Enext 4.0 RO roller-shutter system, this model is also used for passive-house standards. With all Enext 4.0 models you have the option of fitting a glass fall protection, for the all-round carefree feeling during use.
