Which properties are Alulux venetian blinds suitable for?
It makes no difference whether you are just building new or renovating an existing home. You can fit ARTec venetian blinds anywhere the necessary space is available. They are suitable both for classic surface-mounted roller shutter boxes with or without render and for a wide variety of top-mounted roller shutter boxes.
Alternatively, complete venetian blinds with channel or double plaster fascias can be installed, which are also available with clinker cladding, for example. Either way, the product is configured and tailor-made to suit your property, with the entire manufacturing process taking place in Germany.
Installation is also wonderfully simple, as the boxes are fitted directly onto the house wall or in the reveal. The drive technology and the lifting and turning mechanism remain freely accessible. This means that any maintenance work can also be carried out very easily, without having to remove the venetian blind package.
How are aluminium venetian blinds constructed?
The extruded fascia boxes are likewise made of weatherproof aluminium and come in box sizes of 165, 180 and 205 millimetres. For the make-up of the slats you can choose from different widths and versions; they are available flanged, in an S or Z shape. The corresponding head rail is closed at the top and bottom, so that neither insect nests can form nor dirt can enter.
On all ARTec venetian blinds the smooth-running slats are guided in the side rails by means of steel guide nipples. On the one hand these nipples guarantee the highest strength against the weather, and on the other hand they also enable the flexible tilting of the slats. Their outstanding quality ensures smooth function even over many years.
What design options are there?
Besides high comfort for your feel-good factor at home, Alulux venetian blinds offer even more. They are also a modern façade element that, thanks to the large selection of shapes, colours and constructions, can be designed entirely to your wishes. Whether the blinds should blend delicately into the overall architecture or set a deliberately visible statement.
The design choice already begins with the selection of the fascia box. This not only has the task of protecting the retracted slats from dirt and external influences, but can also become a colourfully distinctive style element on your house wall. If this is not desired, it is simply made to disappear invisibly beneath the house render.
How are Alulux venetian blinds driven?
Because of their nature, venetian blinds are in principle not operated by hand. The irregular cranking would make the slats twist too easily or jam unintentionally. A gentle motor drive is therefore standard. It guarantees proper operation at the ideal running speed. It also allows the precise tilting of the aluminium slats according to the desired incidence of light.
On the one hand, you have the option of having electronic control elements installed directly on the interior wall. In addition, many builders appreciate the convenience of a remote control to make small adjustments without having to get up each time. Of course, the system can also be programmed by time, so that the blinds are lowered automatically during your absence, for example.
By now technical development has advanced so far that there are also sensors to protect the slats. A so-called wind guard control ensures that the blinds are automatically retracted into the box in strong wind to prevent damage.
And the topic of smart home naturally also plays a major role when installing venetian blinds on your window fronts. The new technology allows you to activate the sun protection from your car even before you arrive home and to avoid overheating of the living rooms.
