With the Resident range we present the XL space-saver among garage doors. On this aluminium model the curtain is stored in a box above the door, leaving both your garage walls and the ceiling completely free.
On the one hand this delivers maximum space, especially in garages that are already tight. On the other hand the slats are optimally protected from dust, other dirt and damage. Beyond that, the premium roller door offers extensive, individual equipment options, letting it adapt perfectly to the style of your property.

What is the big advantage of Alulux roller doors?
Our motorised garage roller doors are manufactured in Germany from the first step to the last, giving them reliable brand quality in line with the applicable DIN EN safety standards. A TÜV certification guarantees, among other things, excellent colour fastness of the products.
The Resident solid-aluminium garage door is technically state of the art and, thanks to the best workmanship of high-quality materials, lasts for generations. Because the door is simply drawn in horizontally along the guide rails, even more space stays available in front of the garage, which can be used to the full. Safety is also increased, as there is no risk of a door tipping down.
Which features are characteristic of the garage roller door?
It can be used for a remarkable opening width of up to 540 cm, so even a double garage opens and closes at the push of a button. The exact dimension is made to the millimetre according to your personal requirements. The door curtain consists of individual slats and is available in 12 standard colours.
For installation, a lintel clearance of at least 25 cm is required. In return you can use the interior of your garage to 100 percent, without intrusive mounts, metal rollers or the like restricting freedom of movement or posing a possible risk of injury. This leaves enough space to store bicycles, play equipment, tyres, tools or garden accessories.
Which optional extras increase the functionality of the garage roller door?
Anyone who needs light in the garage, for example to set up a workbench there, can opt for a practical vision-window profile. For more safety in the entrance area, obstacle detection can also be installed. Further extras are a quality roller console for gentle curtain entry, an emergency release on the inside and outside, a convenient radio remote control as well as additional transmitters.

What standard details is it equipped with?
Complete from the factory
Even in the standard version, Resident comes with an integrated, powerful motor drive. An anti-drop safety device is also fitted and the aluminium hood housing is closed all around. The curtain finishes with a bottom bar including a 22 mm tubular seal.
Quiet and convenient
Thanks to the smooth guidance, the flexible slats are wound up very evenly without causing much noise. Convenient control by push-button or locking system is also already included. The door surface can also be designed in many different colours.
